About NootroWorld
NootroWorld is an independent supplement research site. We aggregate primary research, score with NootroScore, and explain in plain language so you do not have to read 40 product pages and a hundred Reddit threads to make a buying decision.
What we do
We aggregate published research and manufacturer-published certificates of analysis (COAs), evaluate it against an editorial scoring framework called NootroScore, and publish supplement reference pages with cited sources for every benefit claim.
Every benefit on this site links to PubMed-indexed trials or systematic reviews. Every dose recommendation traces back to the trial that established it. If you disagree with our evidence read, you can read the same papers we did and reach your own conclusion.
We do not currently commission our own lab tests. Our comparison pages cite manufacturer COAs and independent third-party testing organizations (ConsumerLab, IFOS, NSF) where those are publicly available. When we say a product is "lab-verified", we mean we read someone else's lab work, not that we paid for our own.
How we make money
Affiliate links pay the bills. When you buy a product through one of our links, the merchant pays us a commission. The price you pay does not change.
Affiliate revenue does NOT influence rankings. The evidence read, the scoring weights, and the editorial verdict are decided before we look at which products have an affiliate program. Several of our top picks pay no affiliate commission at all; we still rank them first when the evidence says they belong there.
What we will not do
- We will not accept paid placement, sponsored content, or "Editor's pick for a fee" arrangements.
- We will not claim to lab-test a product when we have not.
- We will not make medical claims that no human trial supports.
- We will not publish a benefit claim without a citation that you can click and read.
- We will not publish a price we have not verified within the last 30 days.
Editorial standards
- Cited evidence over marketing copy. Every benefit pill on this site links to a primary source.
- Human trials over animal studies. We disclose evidence levels (strong, moderate, preliminary) on every benefit claim and explain when a claim rests on rodent data only.
- Honest framing on lab data. If a product page cites a COA, we say whether the COA is from the manufacturer, an industry program (IFOS, ConsumerLab), or a result we generated.
- Reproducible scoring. Weights, formulas, and constants are published; the methodology page reads constants directly from the code so editorial copy and live scoring cannot drift.
- Transparent updates. Every supplement and comparison shows a last-reviewed date. When the data changes, we re-publish, not silently edit.
Not medical advice
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Supplements interact with prescription medications, pregnancy, and pre-existing conditions in ways that only your doctor can evaluate. Use our research to ask better questions in the appointment, not to skip it.
